For the copilot (right) side, I had a cut off piece of alternate air cable outer shell, and used a length of .090 hinge wire to make a secure wire run from the firewall to the front of the cylinder #1. I threaded the hinge wire end for #4-40 nut. Loctited that nut in place, and with the wire in place, marked where I would make a 180 bend on the firewall end to secure that end with an adel clamp attached to an engine mount tube. Added C-606 steel extension tabs to the valve covers which let me attach this whole wire run below the plug wires. Got that installed and routed the sensor wires along it towards the firewall. Still need to make the electrical connections and then permanently tie off the wiring along that support hinge wire. The hinge wire is flexible enough to move along with any engine motion without stressing anything. I like it. Now that its in place, I'll no doubt find other stuff to tie off on that wiring highway....
Diecut this end to size 440 for a stopnut. Wire doesn't move at all but better safe than sorry
End of wire line at engine mount tube. Connected wires will then go through firewall opening.
