Manual Reference:  EGT/CHT wiring
Brief Description:  Reroute EGT/CHT wires 1

I read on VAF that routing the low current EGT/CHT wires along with the high current spark plug wires back towards the firewall is frowned upon. Not sure if its frowned upon by VAFers, or DARs. Regardless, as I looked at existing nice routing job, I decided it would be best to have a parallel run for the sensor wiring. On the left side, I had the benefit of using the alternate air door control cable. Mine is a horizontal intake engine and the cable runs through the firewall, then down and under the plug wire harness. I used that to attach the sensor wires until it gets about close to the upper firewall passthrough. There it will branch off that cable and continue through the firewall. I can now trim off the excess brown Dynon EGT/CHT wire and put connectors on to match up with the engine sensor wires. So goes the pilot (left) side.
