Time to position and drill the exhaust for the AntiSplat Aero oil separator check valve. I chose a location on the left exhaust pipe as the simplest, least intrusive hose routing with easy access. Drilled a 5/8 hole after marking its position and then filed the upper (closest to engine) curve of that hole to slightly oblong it. That was due to the exhaust tube entering the exhaust pipe at about a 30 degree angle. The assembly still rocked forward and aft slightly when positioned in the hole indicating high sides, so I lightly vixen filed the top surface sides of the hole. That worked perfectly. Clamped it in place, installed the silicone hose, safety wired all the clamp screws and can now call that job complete.

Installation complete and safey wired.
The silicone hose works upward to the separator on the firewall.
