Double nutted each stud. Tightened them against each other firmly and with some initial resistance (call it medium), each one gave it up and they were removed. Whole job took 30 minutes. Then, all over town trying to find longer ones. No joy. The short ones were 1.69 inches. I need to increase length to 2 inches because the PCU5000 base is .78 inches thick. So, Grainger's had the correct ones and I ordered 4. Part A that screws into the adaptor is 3/4 inch. The shoulder is 1/2 inch and Part B that sticks out to mount the governor is 3/4 inch (threaded). So, in total the shoulder and Part B thread is 1.25, exactly what is required. If necessary, I can only thread in Part A to 5/8 deep and have 1 3/8 sticking out. I have orders arriving from everywhere this week. Its like Christmas, to quote my wife.....
Lyco studs were 1.683 long.
Double nuts with this wrench backed each one out just fine.
Part A and Part B threads were .75. Shoulder was .183 ish.
