Manual Reference:  Fuel Pump Drain
Brief Description:  Install drain line from fuel pump

I'm not sure I am comfortable with using Van's Parker low pressure brake line as a drain line from the fuel pump. But, I installed it per plans and I guess we'll just see how it holds up over time. You safety wire the parker tubing to the copper drain line coming from the fuel pump. Then you take a 3/16 inch OD aluminum tube and bend it in several directions to connect with the bottom of that Parker tubing and it bends around the engine mount and out a #12 hole you drill in the firewall bottom flange. Cowl hinge will traverse that same area and I will either slot the hinge around this small tube, or will remove it, drill through the hinge and reinstall it. Not a big deal. I didn't like the close proximity to the exhaust pipes below it so I added a little silicon self fusing tape
(orange) near the bottom. Safety wired both ends as a clamp and moved on to other things. Its only really useful if the fuel pump fails and then it will port the fuel overboard while I'm trying to figure out what happened....
