Brief Description:  Oil return line from #4 cylinder

I believe the oil seperator on the Piper Arrow used the #4 cylinder oil return line to let the captured breather oil return to the engine. I replaced that modified line with a standard oil return line. It looks like a 1/8 tube was welded onto the aluminum line and also there was a spot further down the old tube that looked like it was patched with some aluminum weld. Maybe a hole formed for some reason. Anyway. its off but not discarded.... The new one is shown in place.

It looks like a hose would have been clamped onto that extended tube to return oil to engine.
