Brief Description: Acquaint myself with Oil Cooler stuff
Ok. The straight nipple (-8) I removed was a steel one. Vans supplies aluminum ones. I guess if Vans says go aluminum, I will. I am just wondering about the steel vs aluminum thing. I'm getting close to getting this engine off the rotating engine stand and onto the motor mount. Can't wait.
Dug out the VA lines and oil cooler to understand how it interacts with engine.
Will go about here. Top line returns oil to new 45 deg -8D fitting below breather.
Bottom line brings oil from engine via outlet to right of and below oil filter adapter
