Brief Description:  Oil, Fuel, Maniford pressure fittings.

My (now modified) IO-360 B1E off a Piper Arrow has a fuel pressure line from a fitting on the spider along with the primary fuel line. The oil pressure line made use of a fitting to the left of the vacuum pad and sort of behind the Vernatherm. The manifold pressure line used the same #3 cylinder primer port as Vans calls for. Vans provided two 45deg steel elbows with restrictors installed in them for fuel and oil pressure. The VAF board talks about the benefits of a restrictor in the manifold pressure line as well. What to do? I experimented with an aluminum AN nipple by tapping 10/32 for about 3/8 inch to insert an AN3-3A bolt that would have a #59 hole through it. Maybe I'll do that, then cut off the protruding bolt and head flush to the fitting and chase the hole wth a #60 bit, cleaning it all up. If it works I'll do it to a steel 45 elbow. Someone used an AN 470 AD4-6, drilled the #60 hole but I'm confused how it would be inserted and stay in place. Wouldn't the round head conflict with the flare fitting on the other end that I'm working with on this nipple?

Think I'll plug this and use the plan fitting at the fuel pump.

Good enough for Piper Arrow. What to do. Plan says use fitting above magneto.
