Brief Description:  Inboard Fuel Tank Rib

I am not sure about positioning of this fuel sender ring and all the supporting plates and gaskets yet. Inside the blue box is the fuel level float and fuel level sending mechanism. The gold ring on the left actually goes on the rib inside the tank while the more solid gold plate goes outside the tank rib. I see the gold nose plate angle which will help attach this tank to the fuselage later. I also see the fuel tank drain mounting plate. I found the AN fittings for the fuel and vent lines. I made a couple spacers to fit inside the tank on the AN fittings between the rib web and the big nut that tightens up the fitting. The spacers are needed to allow the nut to still have full threads under it during the tightening process. Without them, the nut runs out of thread before getting tight to the rib. I still can't find T410 doubler plates that are supposed to be made from .063 aluminum and they go inside the tank up at the top of the inner and outermost tank ribs to give more strength to that part of the tank where the rib meets the leading edge skin. I'll make them. Dimensions are on the plans.
