I took advantage of a visit from my pilot son to put him to work finishing the riveting on this fuselage by attaching the last skin. There was a lot to do beforehand, like dressing and tying off the wire bundles forward of the main spar. Lot of work there. The installation included the remaining skybolt fasteners across the upper firewall. They were fitted years ago, waiting for this day. The canopy was also waiting for this day, so we carefully installed that as well. It still needs final fiberglassing of the transition fairing from metal to canopy. Son thought he was here for a rest after his last G5 excursion. Hah.
