Brief Description: Add Guardian CO Detector to Panel
GuardianAvionics Carbon Monoxide Detector has model 353-101 basic panel mount detector with audible alarm plus visual panel light and test button. I came across an 8 year old unit which needed to be returned to the factory due to a 7 year expected life of the detector mechanism. It was too old to recalibrate and the factory offers $100 off retail for a new one if you return the core. So here it is, Installed and tested and it works great. I'm getting down to final few VPX power pins and I may consider using one to power a behind-the-panel electrical bus for 4 or 5 minor powered devices, like defrost fans, panel LED lights, etc.
Located the basic unit on the copilot side above the Skyview HDX.
