Manual Reference:  Fuel Tank
Brief Description:  Anti Rotation Device

I took advantage of this repair task to add an Anti-rotation keeper to the fuel pickup line. That prevents the B Nut from inadvertently loosening and disconnecting. That would eliminate about 2/3 of the usable fuel in the tank from feeding the engine. There was an earlier instruction from VANS to drill the B nut and safety wire it to support structure, giving similar safety results. So, I installed the fuel pickup, tightened it and slid the anti-rotation keeper in place. The serrations are frequent enough that if you are not able to square it up to the cover for riveting, just tweak the B nut tightness slightly to the next serration and it will square up. Match drilled the device to the tank cover and will rivet and seal it as soon as my new order of Chemseal CS-3204-B2 tank sealant arrives. I plan to use that to fully seal everything regarding the fuel tank cover on this tank and not use cork and rubber gasket anymore.

I was going to use TiteSeal on cork and rubber. Changed mind to go with Chemseal
