Brief Description:  Mounted AK-450 ELT-3

I cut the telepone 4-wire connector off, so I could feed the wire through the airplane without snagging everywhere. Space is getting tight on the spar passthroughs. Down the center tunnel I used Van's nylon wing conduit to run smoke pump, flaps, flap positioner, and ELT wires inside and up into the flap motor housing area. That conduit was attached with a couple Adels to the floor rib and one in the flap motor housing, so all wires are protected. I doubled back with the ELT wire and put a snap bushing in one of the rear floor rib tooling holes (enlarged to 3/8) so I could run the ELT wire one bay outboard from the center tunnel rearward to the next bulkhead. I repeated the snap bushing through that next bulkhead, then ran the wire over to the ELT. Adhesive zip tie mounts were installed along the route plus aluminum pull rivets to secure them. Finally, I spliced the wires back together.
