Brief Description:  Avionics Ground Bus 2

All the Avionics Ground Bus wires are isolated from airframe ground by using this DSUB connector. They mate to the soldered female DSUB receptacle, then flow via the 14AWG ground to the firewall forest of tabs. The Negative battery cable is directly attached to that forest of tabs, so it provides the least resistive, most direct ground path for all avionics.
Printed wire labels in Word, cut them, had fun sliding them into the clear heatshrink, and applied heat gun heat to secure them in place. The GTN750 Com ground wire is 16AWG so I ran it directly to firewall tabs. It is too large for the avionics ground bus DSUB pins anyways. They are perfect for 20AWG or smaller wires. I suppose an 18AWG could be made to fit, but it would be a bear..... The trouble is if you have to remove the wire, you cannot easily get the removal tool past an 18AWG wire to free it.
