Going to ask around whether example 1 or example 2 are ok to secure the bearing in the flap actuator. I started with the 1st one and didn't have any twists between the bearing the the hole in the actuator shaft. I don't know if its necessary or not to have it look more like number 2 or number 1. Vans bulletin on this fix did not use a bearing hole. They had you do a safety wire wrap around the bearing bolt and then back through the actuator shaft hole. I have seen many build sites that drilled a small hole in the bearing shoulder like I did. Some actually drilled through the actuator shaft right through the bearing threaded end and cotter pinned it on the shaft. We'll see. This is all practice for me anyways.
