Manual Reference:  Primer Ailerons
Brief Description:  Aileron parts cleaned and primered

Bike Week in Daytona slowed me down here... Anyways, back to degreasing and priming the ailerons. I did a few aileron parts with the flaps to use up extra primer last time. Here is the rest. Also primed the wing access cover now that it has been final drilled, dimpled and fitted. Waiting for another Vans order for more missing parts plus a 2nd wing access cover. I mistakenly drilled 3 nut plate mounting holes through the access cover before it dawned on me to stop... Added it to my extra parts box. I noticed the flap/aileron hanging hardware was not to be found anywhere. Ordered more bolts, big washers, and other misc parts I will need later.
Next up will be to rivet in the aileron stiffeners, bend the radius correctly on the rear of the ailerons, and proceed to drill, finish the dimples, rivet the aileron together. Then I will cut out the skin where the electric aileron trim goes and install the removable skin cover, doublers, nutplates, rear trim mechanism and connecting rod, permanently mount the trim mechanism.and move on to the flaps.
