As usual, the 2nd thing you make goes way faster and better than the 1st. This left flap went together very nicely. I didn't spend as much time trying to get the perfect alignment on the hinge. Once I had it set properly (3/8 inch from center of hinge pin holes to matched drill holes in predrilled skin) I could align it very quickly and held it with squeeze clamps while I drilled and clecoed each hole. The flap plate angle on the front corner of the spar was minorly in the way of the hinge so I trimmed the bottom of the angle 1/16 inch to allow the end of the hinge to fit. Edge distance to the nearest1/8 inch rivet hole in the bottom of the angle was still 1/4 inch which is ok. Deburred all holes. Smoothed all edges. Rounded all corners. Countersank the flap spar.
Finished drilling all holes including mounting the hinge.
Root end of right wib with all holes drilled.
Straight edge shows perfect radius on rear of flap and flat top surface too.
