Brief Description:  Re-tested the fuel tank

Epilogue: Temperature affected the balloon size during the test. When I refilled the balloon on day 2 and set the tape measure against it. Within 20 minutes the balloon shrank 1/4 inch, I thought it was due to the mixing of existing air and cooler added air. Over the next 6 hours, the temperature increased 20 degrees, expanding the balloon over 1 inch. By day 3 the balloon shrank back to a smaller size than I initally filled it to. Probably due to 25 degree lower temps, air leaching out the balloon membrane, and a persistent tiny leak at the two balloon bases. I resealed the fuel vent opening with a flared fitting on a crimped 1/4 in line with fuel lube on the end threads. I came inside the house for a 78 degree test. I double safety wired the infated balloon using a wrap of blue tape over the balloon base. The fuel fill cap had a small bubble every 5 seconds when under water in the bathtub. I replaced duct tape with clear packing tape. Soap/glycerine tested every rivet on top ,bottom, ends and back. NO LEAKS. Balloon stayed perfect for 24 hours. Checked all seams on drain, access plate, fuel vent, fuel line Everything perfect except fuel cap. It leaked after removing clear tape. Usher Mfg emailed directions to change the pressure on the fuel cap O ring. Broke the hinge pin inside the cap lever. Made spares out of 1/16 drill bit shanks 3/4" long. Reassembled and made final adjustments to the fuel cap. The nut AND the lower squeeze plate are both threaded. To loosen that nut, open the cap lever, sqeeze the lever ears tight between some wood in a vice, Carefully unloosen the nut. Adjust the lower plate. Tighten nut. Test fit. My Tank passed the test. I Installed the fuel sender and its now certified leak free.
