Brief Description: Right elevator drill, cut, deburr, grind and match
I got a lot done on the elevator today. Much of the time was spend simply cutting the taper to the stifferners and making sure I had the location of each of them on the right part of the skin. Nice thing is, you can't screw up (at leat this side) and get them in the wron place since holes only work on either the top or bottom of the skin. Really smart how Van's lined these up I think! As the photos show, it's just the now familiar cutting, deburring, grinding and clekoing the parts in place on the skin. Skin is drilled and the parts are ready for the dreaded priming step.
