In retrospect, I am glad I could not get the SeaRey kit back in 2001. After seeing the LSX, if I had a compleated SeaRey today, I would be putting it up for sale at a lost to start all over with the new LSX kit. What I have missed by not getting the kit back then is the comradery and friendship of the SeaRey community that I have come to know in the last year. I went to one of their yearly gatherings last Spring at Garner's Landing. A private Seaplane base near Auburndale, Florida. Their were SeaReys and owners from all over the U.S. and Canada in the back yard of Russ Garner's lakefront home. All of which keep in touch through a website called "Splash & Dash Seaplane Delights" . I can't wait till I can join them with my own SeaRey and fly with them to fly-ins and gatherings. Others that are building SeaReys can be seen at: www.mykitlog.com/cleng www.mykitlog.com/jonpalm www.mykitlog.com/users/index.php?user=searey429C&project=563
