Brief Description:  Page 29 Applying the Fiberglass

August 2 2012 Continued.

Applying the Fiberglass

I cut and laid the Fiberglass. I then mixed up the last 12oz. of Resin and started to brush it on the foam on the top right side and brushed in the fiberglass. I then lifted the glass off the front, and started to do the front when the resin started to gel up. OH SH#T, F#@K, I started cursing like a Sailor. It was less than 5 minutes and it gelled up. I just used the last of the resin and Its 6:30 PM, Dinner is ready and Ace Hardware closes at 7:00.
I went to Ace and got more resin, and came home and had dinner, and then back to the glassing.
I mixed up 4oz. with half the hardener this time and started the other side. I ran out of mix and made another 4oz. and finished the left side. I then tried to finished the right side but could not wet the dried parts to get the bumps out.

WHAT A DISASTER, I HATE WORKING WITH FIBERGLASS
