Realized I did not have appropriate clamps for getting around the spar flanges to hold the ribs so off to The Home Depot I went. Picked up a couple of Irwin Handiclamps for this task.
I also picked up another gadget that's been on my "to buy" list for a while - a 9" digital level. This should come in handy when setting up the stabilizer frame for attaching the skin. While playing with it's various features I also confirmed that my 4'x12' workbench was pretty much dead nuts level side to side and end to end from the original set up with the "whiskey stick".
The 18" steel ruler is should prove handy for those measuring tasks that fall between the pocket scale and metric tape measure.
