Used step drill to create four openings about 1" from cut out profile lines in each corner of the rudder cutout zone. Made connecting cuts with snips to create a large cutout on each side. Step drilled the front corners to 7/16" and larger aft holes which were connected with Olfa scribes. The resulting tabs were easily bent off. Used hack saw, files, 1/2" sanding spindle and debur tool to finalize the cut out.
Note: I could not find the instructions for this cut out procedure on any page of section 6T3 in the Assembly Guide.
