If you fit the tip rib as shown in the Assembly Guide you'll have a big gap between the rear radius of the rib and the top of the rear skin. I created tighter fit by sanding 15mm off the bottom of the rib at an angle that parallels the rear skin but there is still a small gap. Drill and clecoed seven holes on each side.
Finish drilled all of the rib holes with #30 drill for 1/8" clecos and A4 rivets.
Cut a new nose skin from 0.020" and formed the bend over a 1-1/8" diameter broom handle using two 3' pieces of wood - one in each hand - to distribute the bend load. Inserted skin in preparation for drilling.
As noted previously: The nose skin dimensions specified on the drawing have sufficient extra material built into them so there is no need to add extra.
