Blanked out the leading edge and trailing edge skins from 0.020" according to the plans.
Post-assembly note: The rear (trailing) skin is drawn to actual, final size so blank out as drawn. The nose skin - as noted in the Assy Gde - is drawn with extra width to ensure there is sufficient extra material to simplify the initial fitting between the rear skin and spar before trimming to the final 10mm rivet line edge distance . The "V" cut-out drawn and dimensioned on the top is for reference only and should be shown on the drawing as such. This countour will be marked and cut based on it's fit to the tip rib.
Lesson: Sometimes you can't follow the plans exactly as drawn when scratch building.
