Initiated a 90 bend on the brake then folded in half, duct taping the matched forward edges. Completed the bend using a 3/4" board and C-clamps with a 1/4" board in the fold to ensure radius did not get over-bent into a crease. Trial fit the skin to the frame to visualize what will be required to lay out the rivet lines.
Am going to cut a new 65T5-1 leading edge skin blank without the 46mm "V" cut-out at the top. This should be specified on the drawing as a "Trim to Fit" cut just like the countour line on the bottom of the skin. The layout for this cut will be drawn as shown on page 11 of section 6-T-5 of the Assembly Guide (Image 3 below) then cut as shown on page 12 of guide.
