Started the day by rebuilding the forward left torque tube assembly. The VA-162 threaded end had become frozen inside the bearing and NO amount of FORCE was going to remove it. So I cut it off below the bearing and drilled out the bearing rivets. Reinstalled new bearing and VA-162 onto forward assembly.
Completed installing 8 remaining nutplates on inboard end of left and right fuel tanks.
With the help of Jon Abarr, Bob Walden, Randy Sage, Ralph Trapaga, and Bill Gilmer, the wings were set in place with the temporary bolts.
I then installed and snugged down the NAS bolts on both wings- They are on for GOOD!!!
