Step 1 Installed rod end bearings and jam nuts on left elevator. Adjusted to 7/8". Step 2 Attached HS to bench with screws and used block for aft support. Step 3 Attached left elevator to HS and checked for any interference and full travel. Step 4 Secured left elevator in-trail.

Step 1 Modified E-drill bushing to fit inside Va-146 bearing. Step 2 Used e-drill as guide to drill left horn with #17 drill. Step 3 Removed elevator, final drilled to 1/4" and deburred. Step 4 Repeated last 6 steps for right elevator. Step 5 Installed both elevators and secured in trail Step 6+7 In aft control horn, marked and drilled 3/16" hole per plans. Step 8 +9+10 Measured distance between horns and cut wood block to fit. Drilled guide hole in block per plans and clamped in place. Step 11 Match drilled horns #12 using guide block. Step 12 Removed elevators and deburred
