Brief Description:  Fixing the door strips. - Part 2.

With the holes transfer drilled into the new strip, I used clekos to attach it to the lexan and then the lexan to the frame. From the inside of the door, I traced along the top of the frame cross member to mark its location on the aluminum strip.

With the strip removed, I offset the mark I made 1/2" down with located the bottom edge of the new strip.

I trimmed off the excess. I used a band saw - the little scissors in the image below is just a prop.. Ha Ha...

For all of these operations, I had two strips of aluminum stacked and taped together, therefore making both left and right sides at the same time.
