Brief Description: 4" Tape Along Top Former and Fin Patch.
I glued the 4" tape along the top former and installed the patch over the radius at the bottom of the fin.
The tape over the top former was straight forward, although I took some extra time to make sure it is straight.
I had some 4" bias cut tape that I used to make the patch over`the transition from 4" to 2" tapes at the bottom of the fin. I made it about 10.5" long and cut the ends round. Similar to when I did the fin, I wet the centerline, placed the fabric, and let it dry. I worked the sides into place and found that the fabric formed a curve as it traveled up the side of the fin, so I marked it and trimmed it to be parallel to the front of the fin, and then glued it in place.
This patch could be cut in a bias direction from excess fabric if 4" bias tape is not available.
