I used 2" bias cut tape on the front of the fin which made the curve at the bottom easy. I started at the curve by wetting the centerline of the curve and placing the fabric. I let it dry so it would stay in place while I worked the sides into place. I ran the 2" tape forward a few inches past the curve to avoid having the work the 4" tape around the radius. After the curve was done I worked up the sides of the fin.
The 2" bias tapeI used was left over from covering the stab parts. As an alternative a 1 foot length of tape could be cut of of excess fabric in a bias direction, and used at the curve. Standard tape could be used for the rest of the fin.
Starting the front of the fin.
Corner area glued down.
Front of fin done, Glue area for 4" tape can be seen.
