The manual specifies 2" tape for the areas in the images below. I used 3" wide tape except for the small diagonal tubes at the landing gear and I thought it offered much better coverage.
These tapes require lots of little cuts and reliefs to clear all the protrusions, so they take a long time. Other than that, they are straight forward.
This finishes up the fuselage covering except for a`final ironing of the tape edges and a final coat of thinned glue over all the tapes and patches. I am leaving these final steps for after everything is covered and as preparation for painting, so it is on to the flaps and doors, and then covering will be complete!!
