* I found that a good portion of the fabric was not touching the surface of the skin under the tank. I ended up wedging several strips of metal, rolls of tape, paint brushes, and whatever else I could find between the skin and the fuel tank to push the skin against the fabric so the glue would stick.
* Both wings are covered now ready for patches and tapes. For the next step I will build a couple of stands to support the wings and allow me to rotate them so I can access all sides.
