Brief Description: Tip Skins and Leading Edge Wrap.
Installed tip skins and prepared leading edge wrap for gluing.
Comments:
* The tip skins went on without trouble. They took a little massaging to get the curves right, and I double checked to make sure everything fit well before drilling. I had to trim a little off one side of the rear flange, and I had to take care that all the rivet holes hit the skin and didn't fall off the edge.
* I am hoping to glue the leading edge wraps this weekend, so for now I am just getting them ready. I dimpled all the holes and riveted the stringers in place. Leave the outer rivet on each side out as they will be installed when the wrap is installed on the wing. Next step is to remove the anodizing and start gluing.
