* My Rami communications antenna was a little larger than the stock mount furnished with the kit. I purchased some .050 aluminum from McMaster Carr and fabricated a new mount.
* I am planning to use the kit provided ELT mount for my ADS-B out antenna, so I needed a new place for the ELT antenna. I made a mount to locate the antenna inside the fuselage near station 5. The blue tape in the image shows how much clearance there will be to the covering material. A 90 degree BNC adapter from Radio Shack makes the wiring path easy. The P-clips are stainless steel units from Mcmaster Carr. The screw grounds the mount to the frame.
* I made a similar mount to locate the Dynon GPS antenna at station 4 behind the baggage compartment.
This completes the items necessary before covering the fuselage. Wings are up next.
