Brief Description:  Skyview Audio Out Setup

I began the evening working on the Rudder cables, using my dimple tool I made the other day.
I dimpled the holes required for the adel clamps that will anchor the rudder cables as they exit the aft fuselage. Then I was unable to find fiberlock nuts that would fit the -8 screw I planned on using.

Not wanting to waste anytime, I jumped to the Skyview audio out. I took about an hour studying the schmatics for the PMA6000B and the skyview documentation. Temporarily jumper the PTT to the trigger switch on the Pilot's stick, and tested via the PMA6000B, a blinking COMM light on the panel indicated proper operation. I plan on using an external PTT velcro'd to the co-pilot stick, my thoughts were it (co-pilot stick) will not be installed all that often.

I then pinned out the Audio Out from the Skyview to the "unswitched pin 7" on the PMA6000B, and powered on the system. I was welcomed with a manly "Dynon Skyview" and followed by a much nicer womanly voice "Caution" reminding me that my compass calibration has not been completed. Everything tested successfully.

Note: Spruce should be shipping my GTR225 today... hopefully.
