Went to Lowes and picked up some 8-32x2" screws... I wasn't sure if they would be long enough for full adjustment, as it turns out, they should work fine. I wanted to test how everything looked at night. I placed a piece of plywood (1x8ft or so) across the fuselage and supported the wingtips so they faced out of the garage and waited for it to get dark.
OK... that answered my question... These AeroLED lights are BRIGHT!!! When I turned on the landing lights... They cut through the night like a knife. Lit up half the neighborhood, including a couple of folks houses across the street... The light disprused nicely and the field of view from the cockpit was good.
