Checked the switches and configurations in the VP-X. Photo #1 will give you an idea, incorporated a 12v LED to simulate the light circuits. Tested: Landing, Taxi, Nav, Storbes and Boost pump. Photo #2 Shows the assocaited system power ups with the Avionics switch. The "Check Marks" on the screen indicate which circuits are active.
Later in the day... I wired what I call a "Master Power" LED Light. Photo #3. This light is on Bus A or B, and set to "Always On" in the VP-X. So any time the Master Switch is on the light will be on. I may put 2 lights, 1 for Bus A and 1 for Bus B... That way I will know immediately at power up if I have a fault in the VP-X power buses... I like to be able to look across the hanger as I leave and make sure everything is powered down. 3 "M's" Mixture/Mags/Master...
I also setup 2 LED lights to simulate the landing lights, and configured the WIG/WAG settings. I set to WIG/WAG at 100kts and simulated the airspeed setting within the VP-X, at 101Kts the lights began to cycle off and on. VP-X impresses me again...
