Getting things ready for this weekend... First Engine Run-In... I sealed the air intake wedge to the composite mounting plate for the airbox. You can see the aluminum wegde between the bottom of the carb and the airbox in Photo #1 The aluminum wedge was taken off a Mooney M20C with a O-360A1A. It allows the aft carb drain plug to clear the mounting plate, and gives the airbox a perfect angle to the cowl.
