Brief Description:  Pull Thru Test Pmags

I had a bit of a set back...
During the testing of the Pmags, one of them failed.
I powered up the ignition system, and set the timing 2 degrees advanced of TDC.
This is recommended for light weight composite props.

I pulled all the plugs, and grounded each one to the engine block.
I turned the lights off in the hanger, and pulled the prop through...
The spark plugs fired as required, but I noticed there was a yellow light on one of the mags duing the 180 degree stroke... The manual indicated a coil mis-alignment...
I cycled the power to the ignition system and the effected mag was offline... Flashing Yellow.
After limited success running through all the published trouble-shooting docs...

I called the EMAG folks and talked to Brad... Great guy, he asked that I send both the mags in for bench testing and calibration... not an ideal situation, but better now than later. Brad mentioned they have seen this on rare ocassion. He also promised a quick turn around.

Maybe the weekend of the 18th... for first engine starts...
