Started fitting the oil cooler. Drilled the mounting holes and positioned the airflow vent. The vent will share the mounting bolts only, and will not be riveted. If for any reason it does not function as designed or restricts the airflow too much I can just unbolt the cooler and remove it.
I like the concept and design of the vent, but only operating time will prove its worth. The vent can be adjusted to allow any amount of air through the cooler from Full Open to Closed.
