I came across a Lycoming O-360-A1A... Narrow Deck. Deal was too good to pass up. 3700 TT on the cases, 2023 SMOH... Price was right. It is out of a Mooney, with logs detailed since new. The aircraft was hangered it's whole in central texas, engine is really clean. It flew regularly and was annualled in 2009... I feel comfortable.
I will tear it down... and send the crank / cam and cases out the the boys in Oklahoma. Hopefully all is servicable...
If all is well... I think I will convert it to Fuel Injection, with a Superior horizonal induction system. We will see...
