Completed the lower cowling support. Aligned with the engine mount and fuselage and drilled as required. Temporarily mounted the assembly, and installed the lower cowling. Nice fit. During my inspection I found where the carb airbox was a bit too close to the left cowling. I also noticed that the airbox was touching the nose wheel faring at the very back.
I will have to fabricate a new mounting plate that off-sets the aribox about a 1/2" to the right and forward. Making sure it is properly aligned with the cowling in-take. Just one of those tweaks that has to be done.
