Continued to work on the cowling. Trimmed and sanded the upper cowling to fit with the firewall and drilled for the mounting points. I will not be using the hinge method along the top, I opted instead to use individual mounting screws along the top and bottom of the cowling. I will be using the hinge method on the sides of the lower cowling and to mate the upper and lower cowl along the length.
I began to fit the lower cowling... trimmed and sanded the forward lower cowling to fit the upper cowl. matched the uppper and lower along the sides and trimmed as required.
I am satisfied with the initial fit... of course there are a few tweaks required here and there.
