Brief Description:  Fuel / Brake Lines

Had to make a trip to the airport for a few AN fittings due to the fact I used a union fittng for the fuel and brake lines. I fabricated the left lines around the landing gear weldment and torgued all the fittings. I put some 1/4" fuel hose around the brake line as a spacer between the brake and fuel line and secured it. Not sure I really need it, clearance between the lines is about 1/4" on its own.

I began to check for leaks by pulling a vacuum through the lines and everything looked good.

This configuration allows me to remove the landing gear weldment without removing the lines.

At this point the fuel lines are complete from the tanks through fuel selector to the boost pump.
The brake lines are complete form the resavoir through the actuators to the pass through on the bottom of the fuselage. I am installing dual brakes. (Left and Right side)

As a side note I just had to see how the canopy will fit, I measure out and clamped rollbar in place and checked to see if it was 90 degrees to the longerons... it was exactly on. thank goodness. The plans call for shims if necassary.
