Brief Description: Fitted the Left Wing Leading Edge
Cleco the W-709 ribs into the W-701 Leading Edge Skin. Fabricated the W-423 Joint Plate.
I marked the rib where the holes will be drilled, then remove and fluted and straighten the rib. Then inserted the rib clecoed to the main spar. Inserted the joint plate, with not too much trouble and made sure the line was visible through the drill holes. I then made sure the rib was straight and true to the main spare. I began by drilling and carefully checking the alignment as I went. (Inspection Mirror) The rivet edge spacing looked really good, so I completed all the drilling of the joint plate and leading edge skin and rib.
I am really short on 3/32 clecos at this point... I did get a start on the right leading edge ribs and skin. As of right now it is in the leading edge cradle with a couple of ribs installed.
