Drilled the 3/4" holes for the electrical conduit that will run the length of the wing. Deburred the holes. I am continuing to clean and etch prime the Left wing ribs. The cleaning prep for priming is mind numbing, so I try to just do 5 ribs at a time. That way I can change jobs, if not, I may go crazy.
I always try to keep in mind, safety / quality of workmanship. I know it takes me a little longer to get through these steps, but it will be worth it in the long run. Also keep in mind that this 2 part priming system I am using has it good points and its bad points.
The parts will be protected from the elements, and should add value to the aircraft. It will add a little weight to the overall project. It also will effect the eletrical bonding / grounding. I will have to take this into consideration. I plan to run grounding wire / terminal blocks inside the wing.
I will have to do some testing as I assemble the wing.
