I cleaned the rear spar parts with scotchbrite and dawn... Rinsed with clean water and force air dried the parts. Completed 1 coat of etched primer, followed by 2 light coats on epoxy primer. The same process I have been using for the entire build.
I have to admit it adds a few hours to each sub structure. But I afeel it is worth it in the long run.
