Finished riveting the rudder skins... I received my new rivet sets for my squeezer, please check tool section for details.
Sealed the trailing edge of the Rudder.
I used a 1/2 dowel to seperate the edges thier entire length. It was positioned just aft of the dimpled holes. We were able to then apply a nice bead of sealant on the bottom skin then place the wedge in place. Followed by a bead of sealant on top of the wedge. We then pulled the dowel out length wise as the skin layed nicely in the counter sink holes of the wedge. It worked well for us.
We then followed up by placing the (2) aluminum angles in place and cleco'd every single hole in the trailing edge. I will let this set up for a few days before I begin the riveting process.
