I contoured the HS-404 Flanges... I left an extra 1/32" on each end of the flanges. It fits perfectly between HS-710 / 714. Some builders had issues with rivet edge distances when match drilling these parts. So I thought I would leave a litte extra material to work with... I can always contour a bit more after drilling.
Also: I dimpled the 4 holes in HS-702's, and countersunk the related holes in HS-710 / 714 that require 426AD4-6 rivets.
There has been some debate on the rivet selection on some of these parts... Some builders have been using a -7 rivet. I measured the -6 through the parts with a micrometer and it is exactly 1-1/2 the diameter on the -6. I will look at this closely when I begin the riveting.
